After day 1 with – among others – interesting LabStorms on the program and day 2 with lots of networking opportunities, we were sad this already was our last day. We enjoyed seeing you all – in-person and online – incredibly much. There were so many takeaways we got from Feedback+Jacksonville so far. And this last day was no different.
We started the day – after enjoying the delicious breakfast, including our popular avocado toast, one more time – with the Opening Plenary where Asia Hadley, Director of Partnerships at Candid, and Bilal Taylor, Vice President of Charity Navigator talked about how to build the feedback field. You can rewatch the entire plenary here.

After that, there were some interesting Breakout Sessions to choose from. Two sessions, ‘Participant voice first!’ by Joel Mumo of the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, Inc. and ‘Feedback and Equity: Connecting the Dots’ by Juan Clavijo of ORS Impact, were virtual. Sanjay Fernandes’ session about ‘How to start great conversations’ took place in-person and focused on his experiences on feedback evolution with his organization SOLE Colombia.

At the same moment there were some working groups that gathered in the Great Hall. The Feedback Champions, The Irritants and the Feedback Incentives Learning Group all talked about their takeaways from Feedback+Jacksonville.
Then it was time for our final session: ‘Closing Plenary – What’s Next: Commitments to Strengthen Our Community & Feedback Practice’, which you can rewatch here. Speakers Katie Smith Milway of MilwayPLUS social impact advisors and Sanjay Fernandes of SOLE Colombia and moderator Alexis Banks of Feedback Labs led us through looking back on what we’ve learned the past couple of days. They encouraged everyone to go around the room and to look for someone from another organization who might be able to help them in achieving their feedback goals. This gave the opportunity to network one last time and to further nurture meaningful connections.

During the plenary Ame Atsu David of Global Fund for Children remarked from the audience that every single one of the speakers at the Summit spoke with so much passion about feedback and that this was so inspiring. We couldn’t agree more! We absolutely loved every second of Feedback+Jacksonville and are very grateful for everyone who was part of it.
