“We are really, really excited to be bringing the Feedback Crash Course back to Baltimore and to our community. It’s especially meaningful because we took part in the Crash Course a little over two years ago as participants, and it really deeply affected the way that we think about feedback at the foundation. So, we definitely want to make sure that [our nonprofit partners] are getting access to wonderful facilitators at Feedback Labs. It’s really fun and you really get out of it what you put into it, so use the resources and ask questions!

Introduction to Feedback

This 75-minute session explores the reasons to prioritize feedback in social impact work, including more equitable programmatic outcomes, and introduces the closed feedback loop, a methodology for systematically collecting, analyzing, and responding to feedback from constituents. The session highlights case studies and provides the space for participants to reflect on their current feedback practice.

Feedback Crash Course

This course is offered as a four-week virtual course or a one-day intensive workshop. Together, we walk step-by-step through a high-quality, equitable, closed feedback loop, sharing practical tips, tools, and examples for each step of the feedback process. Participants engage in personal reflection, small group discussions, and hands-on exercises to develop their feedback skills. The course culminates in the creation of a personalized feedback action plan. Participants also have the option of taking a certification exam at the end of the course to become certified feedback practitioners.

Recent deep dive topics have included Feedback as a Tool for Equity, Survey Design & Asking the Right Questions, and Making Sense of Feedback Through Constituent Dialogue, and Feedback for International Development. The sessions use case studies, personal reflection, small group discussions, and live simulations to help participants identify practical strategies to apply within their organizations.
