Our final day at Feedback+Bozeman 2025 was a beautiful culmination of bold ideas, heartfelt storytelling, and a shared commitment to build a future powered by listening.
Day 3 opened with a rich mix of inspiration and introspection. From the meditative harmonies of the Greater Yellowstone Threshold Singers to the global journey of Community-Centric Fundraising, attendees were offered moments of calm, curiosity, and clarity. At the same time, vital conversations unfolded—from place-based giving in New Mexico to the economics of mass incarceration—reminding us how deeply feedback connects to justice.
The morning plenary, Flipping the “Expert” Narrative, was a celebration of community voice. Youth leaders and storytellers shared how lived experience, not just credentials, shapes real expertise. We heard how storytelling is being used not only to heal, but to shift power, inform policy, and build community strength. It was a masterclass in listening with humility—and acting with purpose.
The late morning breakout sessions were packed with energy and ideas. Attendees dove into co-created strategies for funding systems change, tools for people-powered outreach, and how listening has shaped everything from basic income programs in Denver to digital health feedback in Tanzania. One key takeaway across sessions: listening is most powerful when it’s continuous, collaborative, and embedded in action.
After three days of learning, reflecting, and connecting, we came together one last time for Committing to the Future of Listening. Through guided reflection, we revisited the themes of Knowing, Showing, and Growing—and asked ourselves what it will take to keep listening at the heart of our work going forward. The session ended with a collective commitment to keep building this movement together, grounded in care, courage, and community.
As we close the chapter on Feedback+Bozeman, we carry forward more than just notes and takeaways. We carry relationships, renewed energy, and a shared sense of purpose. This Summit reminded us that listening isn’t a moment—it’s a mindset. And it’s one we’ll continue to grow, together.
Until next time, thank you for listening—and for leading—with us.
